It's a challenge for Australia to break new ground.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

We're talking about the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the record chasers, are what's still available for a side that has accomplished all there is.

That it took up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

She was challenged by India's rising star Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, dismissed by the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but here that only provided Healy's motivation.

A single came off Gaud's first delivery and from that point Healy was on her way.

"An opportunity to go out there and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that aspect, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three maximums.

Once she was removed Australia required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the belief to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, if we do, we believe we can succeed."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this World Cup want to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will win from any position has only strengthened - this victory following success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.
